lucky 25

in honor of turning twenty-five this month, and that I apparently got a tiny gust of writing inspo: 

Lucky me that I get to experience everything I have 

Lucky me I have gone through loss

Lucky me I have gone through pain 

Lucky me that thus, I get to experience learning and growth

And enjoyment 

And savoring the little things in life that much stronger

Lucky me who gets to feel 

And lucky me who gets to express it 

Lucky me who gets to love - loud and proud, obvious on my face, loving from my core

Lucky me who is surrounded by that same loud love 

Lucky me for the past 25 years 

And even luckier for any and all that are to come 

Lucky me who has experienced discomfort 

Who has gone through turbulence

Lucky me who’s found herself - again and again

Lucky me who grounded herself

Lucky me who gets to experience joy - who is constantly happy

Who smiles with her eyes 

And sings and dances around 

No matter who may or may not watch 

Lucky me who has gone through change - time after time  

Lucky me for all the the paths I have crossed 

And all whose paths have crossed with mine 

Lucky me who gets to wonder

Lucky me for I get to live life
